It was a lucky day when I searched for a domain name to locate the poetry I intend to publish, and if I’m ever invited to join the Haudenosaunee, or the Mahican, it can double as my Indian name: ReadsPoems!
Plenty of people mistake poetry for decorative, or clever, verse. I have nothing against decorum, there certainly is room for it (somewhere), nor am I foe to the clever, but poets must be tethered to the truth, just as English poets are tethered to the very cleverly bejewelled and decorative Crown.
